Your prompt library, one click away in every tab

The PromptVault companion popup puts your saved prompts, variable inputs and platform launcher behind the toolbar icon — so you never leave the page you're working on to grab a prompt.

Free. No account required — the five starter templates work offline.

What it does

Instant search

Fuzzy-search every prompt by title, tag or model without leaving the tab you're in.

Variable filling

[Bracket] and {{mustache}} variables become form fields with a live compiled preview.

One-click launch

Send the compiled prompt straight into ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Grok or Mistral.

Local first, sync optional

Starter templates work offline with no login. Connect your account to pull your cloud library.

Install it in under a minute

  1. Download and unzip promptvault-extension.zip.
  2. Open chrome://extensions in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Arc or Opera.
  3. Turn on Developer mode in the top-right corner.
  4. Click Load unpacked and select the unzipped folder.
  5. Pin PromptVault to your toolbar — you're done.

The extension isn't on the Chrome Web Store yet, so it installs as an unpacked extension. It works in every Chromium browser.

Syncing your account

The popup works entirely on your device. When you want your cloud library inside it, open the popup's account panel and choose “Connect PromptVault account” — that opens the connect page, which hands your signed-in session to the extension. Nothing is copied or pasted, and you can disconnect from the popup at any time.
